I was born and raised in Mansfield, Mass. and have had a passion for photography since before I received my first camera at 12, remember the Kodak disc camera? I would take shots of family and friends during my teens, finally when I turned eighteen I purchased my first SLR (Canon Rebel), took classes, workshops and photos of coworkers for our holiday parties.
While working as a Project Manager for a packaging company and when digital photography came along, I started to photograph product shots of prototypes and finished products. Some of my photographs have been featured in "Beverage World" and "Food And Drink" magazines.
After getting married and having my three children, I became interested in taking photographs of them in vintage style and found photographers Kim Anderson and Anne Geddes as inspiration. I then started creating my own greeting cards for family and friends. My greeting cards have been featureed in fairs and stores on the Cape.
I enrolled in Rhode Island School of Design in 2004 in their Digital Photography program and graduated in Spring 2006. During my last semester at RISD I started Home Town Photo, I specialize in portraits, events, products and youth sports.
